Overview of the weather in Saudi Arabia:

• Medium to strong thunderstorm clouds on parts of Jizan, Asir, Al Baha and Najran regions, sometimes extending to the Taif Heights.

• Temperatures between mid and end of forty degrees Celsius continue in most regions of the country while they are moderate over the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.

• Fog and low clouds formed in the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom with late night hours and dawn.

• An active northwestern wind blows with strong gusts along the eastern regions that extend from Medina to Al-Baha, which stir dust and dust.

Weather conditions on Saturday:

• A very hot atmosphere prevails in the north, center and east of the country, while it is hot in the rest of the Kingdom and moderate in the highlands of the southwest.

• An opportunity for thunderstorms from rain of varying intensity over parts of the southwest and west of the Kingdom. The opportunity includes mountains, tihama, and coasts in the southwest and western regions. It is also expected to include parts of the Empty Quarter.

• The strongest thunderstorms are the areas of parts of Al-Baha, Asir and Jazan, with a warning of torrential rains and downwinds.

• The wind will be northwesterly moderate in parts of the north, central and west of the kingdom. It will be active in some areas, while it will be northeasterly moderate in parts of the eastern region and Riyadh.

• Warning from the formation of torrents and the flow of wadis on parts of the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom, especially parts of Asir, Jizan, Al-Baha, southern Taif and parts of Najran.

• Warning from direct exposure to the hot sun in the eastern, central and northern regions.

• Caution from the danger of low horizontal range due to dust and raised soil.

Saturday evening weather:

• The weather remains relatively hot in many areas, mild over the southwestern mountains, and warm in coastal areas.

• An opportunity for thunderstorms from rain of varying intensity in parts of the southwestern kingdom.

• Fog is expected to form over the southwestern highlands, causing a decrease in the horizontal visibility.

• Winds will be south to southeasterly, light to moderate over parts of the east and central of the kingdom, while northwesterly over parts of the north of the kingdom, it will be active in parts of the western regions, especially the areas of Khurma and Mwai and around them.
